Account Manager Team Lead
Location San Diego, California, United States Date posted June 11, 2026 Job ID 22331 Pay Range $125,000 - $135,000 base + commission- Supervising and supporting Regional Account Managers in local sales activities, vendor shows, and trainings
- Collaborating on performance evaluations and career progression initiatives
- Driving sales growth by increasing business with existing customers and securing new accounts
- Building industry, customer, and competitor knowledge to strategically create sales opportunities
- Traveling within your territory to engage with customers and distributor partners, delivering product demos and closing deals
- Managing sales quoting, contracts, and reporting, maintaining accurate data in SAP
- Organizing participation in trade shows and providing market insights to leadership
- Ensuring expense control within budget and solve customer issues effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science-related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years of successful sales experience in life sciences or related fields. Additional 1+ years of leadership experience is preferred. Experience in laboratory, industrial, scientific, or educational markets preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% (including occasional weekends)
- Your individual territory is the western region
- You will be supporting 3 Regional Account Managers with quarterly travel in Northern California, Wisconsin, and Texas
- Proficiency in MS Office and contact management software (SAP preferred)
- A team player with the ability to influence and coordinate across a sales channel team
