Location Princeton, New Jersey, United States Date posted September 01, 2026 Job ID 22854 Pay Range $150000 - $200000- Be responsible for strategy development, communication, action plan design, execution, follow-up and resulting performance of the SBU on a worldwide consolidated base, with strong emphasis on profitable growth and strategic business expansion.
- Give strategic direction and provide operational leadership to the global business set-up of POs and MOs involved in the Standard Industrial business execution.
- Take a personal lead in the SBU’s strategic initiatives creating a favorable business framework such as globalization, coordination of marketing and distribution, acquisitions, new market development, cost re-engineering and global/key account management, etc.
- Collaborate with Global Services and MOs to leverage service initiatives and drive profitable service growth for the Pendotech business.
- Leverage Group Marketing Spinnaker program while executing on marketing initiatives including content development.
- Develop and define new initiatives, closely coach and monitor its implementation and define focus and set priorities for the SBU.
- Drive development of large and Key Account customer relationships to support the sales team and to be able to be in-sync with the market demands and trends (incl. support high-level price negotiations with key accounts)
- Accountable for spotting business opportunities and developing concepts and action plans around those to be implemented fast and efficiently to harvest profitable business growth opportunities.
- Communicate and network within the MT global organization of MOs and POs, in order to exploit the best synergies amongst SBU and Divisional activities.
- Build and further develop a highly committed team of professionals, inspire and engage people, mobilize them around common goals to reach greater levels of effectiveness and operational excellence and help nurturing and developing talents in the SBU and the Division.
- Support the onboarding of Pendotech into Mettler-Toledo’s Spinnaker process, ensuring smooth integration and alignment with corporate standards.
- Support the rollout and adoption of SAP CRM within Pendotech’s sales and service teams, requiring hands-on experience with SAP CRM systems
- Work out yearly business plans and budgets, monitor the progress and set corrective actions where and when necessary.
- Report on key performance measures, actions and specific issues on a regular basis.
- Actively participate in defining, supporting and implementing the overall strategy of the Division PRO.
- A master’s or bachelor's degree from a four-year university in Engineering, MBA preferred
- Work experience in Pharma industry is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing
- Leadership of sales teams
- Ability to succeed while working through others.
- Superior planning and organization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communications skills.
- Multinational-minded individual
- Fluent English spoken and written, any other language will and can be an advantage.
- Proficient in CRM and MSOffice Suite.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
