Senior Desktop Support Engineer
Location Petaling Jaya, Selangor Date posted November 12, 2024 Job ID 16776- Run global workplace operations - specifically InTune, Client (SSCM), Mobile Device Management (InTune) and Azure Active Directory operations utilizing Microsoft 365 technologies
- Transition / assume responsibility for new solutions from project team into operations
- Build knowledge and know-how to support new features and functions deployed by project teams
- Responsible for a sustainable operations within the Workplace Solution Area as well as its integration with other Solution Areas along the whole solution lifecycle
- Troubleshoot and identify issues raised by the Global Service Desk / Level 1 Support
- Support requirements gathering and design for operational change requests
- Drive the reduction of end user incidents through root cause analysis and end to end quality assurance
- Assess and plan change requests for technical feasibility, effort and risk including cost estimates
- Act as technical lead in implementation projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support Operations Team members within respective areas to build collaboration, knowledge and expertise across the entire team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems (or a related field), or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience and expert knowledge in solution design within a global Enterprise environment (>10’000 users) in
- Operating, administering and managing Standardized Clients for Microsoft Windows
- Operating, administering and managing Client Management Systems for MS Windows, Apple IOS
- Experience in Microsoft products such as O365, Azure, Intune, SCCM, etc.
- Familiar with Intune for deploying applications and configurations
- Experience in packaging applications and troubleshooting installations
- Good powershell scripting
- Excellent analytical skills and structured approach to problem solving
- Advanced communication and presentation skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to different surroundings and situations in a multicultural environment
- Open for international travel depending on business needs
