Indirect Sourcing Specialist

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The Sourcing Specialist provides operational and some strategic procurement support to Global Category Manager and Sourcing Managers, supporting and executing sourcing and contract management tasks such as spend/ market analysis, information gathering, sourcing preparation and execution (eRFI, eRFX) and contract negotiation/ finalization support – with a primary focus on Professional Services and other categories both in Europe and in the United States. This role allows the Category Managers to focus more capacity on strategic and complex negotiations, procurement initiatives and strategic work within the Category. Change to grow further to take over end-to-end sourcing projects in the mid-term and increasing responsibility.
  • Collaborate closely with Global Category Managers and Sourcing Managers in Switzerland (prio.) and the United States on defined procurement workstreams, with a focus on Professional Services like Consulting, R&D, Legal, HR etc on a global scale.
  • Spend analysis & scope: Data cleansing, spend analysis & consolidation, and dashboard maintenance.
  • Policy & Documentation Tasks: Training session planning, repository maintenance and compliance tasks
  • Sourcing execution: eRFQ/RFI execution (template-based), bid tabulation/comparison, NDAs, and catalogue maintenance (if applicable).
  • Contract and legal admin support: negotiation tracker, template population, renewal support and execution, supplier follow ups, contract review of commercial clauses including legal coordination (paralegal and commercial), contract repository management incl. expiry management, eSignature routing, and legal chasing.
  • Other: exemption handling, Planner board hygiene, minutes, and deck/report formatting
  • Lower-complexity case intake and handling, with potential to take on more end-to-end processes as capabilities grow.
  • Support small- to medium-sized projects.

What You Need to Succeed
Background
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field; procurement certification (CIPS, etc.) is a strong asset.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, consulting, sales, or key account management within a globally operating organization.
  • Proven experience in negotiation, contracting, and managing internal and external relationships project management experience or certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Knowledge of
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, ideally within a multinational or global scale business
  • Proactive, self-directed, eager to learn, and self-motivated, with a track record of driving process optimization or procurement automation/digital transformation initiatives.
  • Financial acumen and strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel (Power Query); experience with Power BI/Tableau or spend analytics platforms is an asset.
  • Familiarity with SAP and procurement suites (Jaggaer, or similar ERP/procurement systems) or willingness to quickly learn new platforms.
  • Passion for negotiating, with strong communication skills.
