Strategic Analyst
Location Ohio Date posted January 09, 2025 Job ID 18340- Identify business opportunities by conducting primarily data driven research and provide insight to the respective business users to support decision making
- Research and as necessary acquire data to build a data pool critical for business analysis
- Contextualize data and/or test data validity or its finding by e.g. reviewing them with stakeholders. Upon need provide recommendation to further improve data quality
- Communicate your findings in an expressive way, easy for the receiver to understand
- Act as key interface to key stakeholders such as data team, corporate finance, product teams to gather data and insights that is key for data-driven decision-making
- Participate in workshops and actively contribute in preparation or subsequent research
- Support the quantification of strategies to challenge its viability from data point of view
- Provide reports on key strategy to monitor performance and as necessary develop and maintain dashboards
- Work with other data specialists globally to continuously expand your knowledge how to use data to create new insights
- Basic corporate financial understanding and sound business savviness. A bachelor's or master’s degree in business administration, Economics or related fields is required
- Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in a similar role, ideally supporting strategy creation, business development or a related function is required
- Ability to map and visualize data with industry standard business intelligence tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, etc.
- Basic corporate financial understanding and sound business savviness
- Curiosity and dedication to conduct research and quantifying business context
- Experience in working in a global environment is a plus
- Must be willing to travel upto 20% regional and/ or international travel related to customer visits, market trend assessments, and meetings
