Senior Product Manager (Manual Pipettes)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
As Senior Product Manager for Manual Pipettes at Rainin, you will lead 
the strategic development and management of our manual pipette product line, driving 
innovation and delivering sustainable value to customers worldwide. This role requires 
collaboration across R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to enhance product 
quality, optimize portfolio performance, and support business growth within life sciences and 
laboratory markets. You will be instrumental in shaping product roadmaps and ensuring 
customer satisfaction by leveraging your deep industry expertise and leadership. 
the responsibilities are as follows:
  • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for manual pipettes aligned with company objectives and market needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive new product development, enhancements, and lifecycle management from ideation to phase out.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and product differentiation.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create compelling product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans. 
  • Manage product profitability, pricing strategies, and cost structures to maximize ROI.
  • Mentor and support junior product managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Support sales, technical support and global service teams with product knowledge and training to enhance customer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards such as ISO 9001 throughout the product lifecycle.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years in product management within the laboratory instruments or life sciences industry, with a focus on manual pipettes or related liquid handling products.
  • Strong understanding of manual pipetting technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced project management, strategic planning, data analysis, and financial acumen.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor others.
  • Proficient in product management software and Microsoft Office Suite
