Technical Application Consultant (TAC) for Laboratory Digitalization and Automation

In this role, providing competent and professional technical consultation during the pre-sales phase is key. The TAC ensures, that the sales team of the market organization Switzerland offers the right solution tailored to the customer's specific requirements. The market organization serves the Swiss market with all products and services of METTLER TOLEDO. As the technical expert for the LabX software, the TAC conducts demonstrations and customer trainings either remotely or on-site. For our location in Greifensee we are looking for a Technical Application Consultant 80 – 100% (all genders)
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
- You will professionally address technically complex questions, thereby ensuring high customer satisfaction
- Expert Pre-Sales Consultation: Support the sales process with technical expertise to ensure solutions meet customer needs
- LabX Software Specialist: Lead demos and trainings remotely or on-site to showcase LabX capabilities
- Technical Problem Solving: Provide professional answers to complex technical inquiries from customers
- Additionally, you proactively identify new business opportunities and customers and pursue them actively
What You Need to Succeed
Following requirements are necessary for this role:
- You have an academical degree in a technical and/or natural science background and preferably already bring experience in laboratory digitalization and automation or you have experience as a CSV-expert/engineer in the pharma/chemical/life-science industry
- You understand the requirements of IT and system network engineers
- You have excellent communication skills and enjoy engaging with customers to solve problems and conduct product demonstrations and trainings
- You are proactive in identifying opportunities and driving business growth through customer engagement
- You are comfortable working collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- You are fluent in English and German, French is an advantage
