Sustainability Manager
Location Nänikon, Canton of Zurich Date posted February 28, 2025 Job ID 18666- You contribute to the implementation, monitoring and further development of METTLER TOLEDO's corporate sustainability strategy together with other members of the GreenMT team and in close cooperation with business units and group functions
- You lead the further roll-out of the Design for Environment principles across the company to advance and promote sustainable products and services
- You play a leading role in the collection, analysis, aggregation and communication of the company's sustainability information for external and internal reporting purposes (e.g., the annual corporate responsibility report, sustainability indices and rating agencies, inquiries by customers and other stakeholders)
- You stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to sustainability and facilitate the related information and knowledge exchange across the company
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, natural or physical sciences, sustainability or a related degree
- You have at least five years of relevant work experience with a focus on ecodesign/circularity/ product sustainability and corporate sustainability
- You have practical experience with product carbon foot-printing / lifecycle assessments
- You have practical experience with corporate sustainability reporting and rating frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., EcoVadis, CDP, GRI, CSRD, Sedex, ISO14001, ISO14067)
- You have strong analytical skills, pleasure and proficiency in working with numbers, calculations, and large sets of data and are skilled in working with Microsoft Excel
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- You possess a pragmatic approach to driving progress and a genuine passion for sustainability
