Supply Chain Transportation Specialist
Location Nänikon, Canton of Zurich Date posted January 10, 2025 Job ID 18334- You monitor and evaluate delivery performance of carriers and logistics partners for the EU-HUB.
- You design and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- You manage routes, lead times, and costs for transportation efficiency.
- You maintain carrier agreements to ensure compliance.
- You handle escalations between carriers, vendors, and Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- You lead regular meetings with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and carriers.
- You oversee data extraction and analysis to identify transportation improvements.
- You support the implementation of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) with 3PL.
- You plan and execute logistics improvement projects and act as deputy for the Inbound Specialist.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Transportation or a related field.
- Ideally you have five years of proven experience in supply chain, logistics and carrier management.
- You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to address challenges effectively.
- You work independently and confidently handle responsibilities while effectively collaborating and communicating with team members to manage multiple priorities.
- You are proficient in supply chain software and tools and have strong skills in SAP and MS office.
- You are fluent in English, proficiency in German is an advantage.
- You possess a growth mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
- You stand out for your ability to think critically and focus on end-to-end (E2E) solutions.
