Product Manager Cell Counting
Location Nänikon, Canton of Zurich, Switzerland Date posted July 30, 2026 Job ID 22618- Own the full product lifecycle for the CytoDirect cell counting portfolio, ensuring market fit and profitability.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and segmentation to identify opportunities and define accessible/addressable market potential.
- Drive product strategy, including product enhancements, new product development, and the 4 Ps: product, place, positioning, and pricing.
- Build business cases for new projects, covering market analysis, MRD, pricing, documentation, communication tools, and success factors.
- Define and execute the go-to-market and marketing strategy, including positioning, target customers, sales tools, and global campaigns.
- Plan and support successful product introductions in coordination with Market Organizations and MSG AnaChem.
- Act as internal and external product expert, supporting sales, key customers, and third-level troubleshooting for technical/application issues.
- Collaborate closely with regional project managers, market organizations, and SBU market management to define requirements, gather intelligence, and develop business opportunities.
- You have a higher degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or relevant Master’s) is preferred.
- You have a minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in product management in the life sciences or related fields, preferably with a focus on instrument development.
- You bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to develop market-aligned product strategies.
- You have solid technical acumen in life science instruments and cell-counting workflows, with a good understanding of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Ideally you bring strong communication, a problem-solving mindset, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- We require fluent communication skills in English, German is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel about 10 – 15%.
