LabX Product Manager
Location Nänikon, Canton of Zurich, Switzerland Date posted June 16, 2026 Job ID 22308- Oversee the complete lifecycle of your assigned product portfolio, from New Product Development & Introduction (NPDI) to strategic phase-out and obsolescence planning.
- Define use cases based on continuous primary customer research in which unarticulated pain points are uncovered focusing on the why, what, and when.
- Identify strategic growth opportunities through an in-depth understanding of market segments, workflows, applications, and competitors.
- Partner daily with engineering teams and product designers to ship high-quality iterations ensuring the delivered functions provide real business value. Define use cases and ruthlessly prioritize functionality based on strategic alignment, technical feasibility, and projected return on investment (ROI).
- Launch product-increments globally to the market together with the LabX Marketing Manager and do all market communication.
- Act as the principal product expert for our local sales and service teams: conduct expert product training, application support, and technical sales enablement. While working with them gather business insights and market feedback from them.
- Develop and maintain effective sales and service materials to support sales channels, ensuring efficient product selling and service delivery.
- Master’s degree in engineering or natural sciences (preferably in Chemistry or Biotechnology), or related field.
- Some experience in software product management, ideally in a larger organization within the laboratory software industry or similar B2B software environments.
- Practical experience working in laboratories and/or with significant customer segments such as Pharma, Chemical, Life Sciences, Food, or Testing Labs is highly desirable.
- A curious and self-driven mindset, passionate about venturing into new territories with an entrepreneurial spirit. A blend of analytical, structured, and visionary thinking.
- Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Strong technical acumen to translate complex software concepts into intuitive, user-friendly products.
- Fluent in English (oral and written); German language skills are a plus.
