Hiring Senior Engineer - Software Support_ Hyderabad location

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • The Senior Software Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, installation, configuration, validation, and maintenance of the Laboratory software platform. The role involves supporting laboratory customers, ensuring system reliability, resolving software and instrument integration issues, conducting user training, and collaborating with internal service, sales, and product teams to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Responsibilities: Qualifications and Technical Skills: • Provide first and second-level technical support for software applications and connected laboratory instruments. • Provide end user application support via phone & email & visit if required • Diagnose and resolve software, database, communication, and integration related issues. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, remote access, or onsite support.
  • Installation & Configuration : • Conduct customer training sessions for LabX administration and operation. • Prepare user documentation, operating procedures, and training materials. • Support customers during software implementation and go-live activities. • Software products can be integrated in leading IT systems (ERP,MES,LIMS),so he must be able to support, manage & integrate the software systems into a leading IT system
  • Service Documentation • Maintain accurate service records, case logs, and technical reports. • Document troubleshooting activities, corrective actions, and resolutions. • Update knowledge base articles and best practice documentation.
  • Support software validation activities in regulated laboratory environments. • Ensure compliance with data integrity requirements and applicable regulatory standards. • Assist customers with audit preparation and system assessments.
  • Key Behavioral Attributes: 1. On-Site Field Service including travel across country as and when required (Out-station Travel around 20-30%) 2. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills 3. Analytical and Trouble-shooting skills 4. Collaboration skills: Work closely with Service Engineers, Product Specialists, Sales Teams, and Global Support Organizations.


What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor of Engineering in IT/Computer Science
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in technical support, laboratory informatics, laboratory software. Experience with laboratory software platforms, LabX, LIMS, CDS, ELN, VMWare & Citrix or similar systems preferred. Experience supporting pharmaceutical or research laboratories is an advantage.
