Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
• Scientist with versatile knowledge in the Biotechnology/Bioprocesssing domain and has IT inclination.
• Provide timely and precise solutions in the form of pre- and post-sales support to the global sales teams by answering the cases through software based application portal. Customers need support on product hardware, firnware features, applications, service, data management, consummables, regulatory as well as logistic topics and quality issues.
• Strong and effective communication skills are a must. Your main communication partners are MT colleagues in the PendoTECH, USA, our market representatives in over 50 different countries and peers from other support teams.
• Manage projects and timelines effectively to meet deadlines.
• Ensure regular communication with stakeholders to drive project success.
• Develop technical expertise and provide high-quality support to colleagues at Market Organizations & authorized distributors.
• Provide correct and timely feedback on non-conformance issues for quality enhancements, new product development, and technical bulletins.
• Communicate, document, and manage regional product-related issues with the sales, Service, and Quality departments as required on a regular basis with the MOs and respective POs to resolve customer issues promptly.
• Attend training sessions, meetings, and ad-hoc sessions to stay updated with relevant topics that help create/update content for PendoTECH products. Continuously improve skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and biopharmaceutical research and downstream processing equipment innovations.
What You Need to Succeed
Ph.D. in Biotechnology and/or microbiology/Organic Chemistry/Polymer Science/Material Science. Post-DOC fellowship in relevant subjects will be an added advantage.
• Experience as an operator in the biotechnology and/or fermentation industry using single-use and multi-use sensors, Market application support experience (a plus) for at least 4 to 5 years are minimal requirements.
• Knowledge of typical bioprocessing downstream purification processes like chromatography and filtration.
• Knowledge of industry-relevant regulations, guidelines, and trends. The ability to bring this knowledge into product development, application requirements, and usage.
• Knowledge of single-use equipment will be a plus (as opposed to reusable)
• Knowledge of the different cell types (mammalian, bacterial, yeast) and cell types: (mAbs, stem cells, gene therapies, ADC)
• Reasonable hands-on knowledge of biotechnology and fermentation will be an added advantage.
• High energy driving and strong result orientation.
• Excellent multilevel communication skills both verbal and written. Strong intercultural understanding since you will be working in a global team with global exposure
• Ability to work independently with own team as well as with different teams of the matrix.
• Capability to think out of the box, appetite for learning, and open mind for innovation.
• A valid Passport is essential. Regular training in the HQ, on-site visits, product training, etc is envisioned in a later stage.
