Marketing Manager
Location Manchester, England Date posted November 04, 2024 Job ID 17898- Work within the METTLER TOLEDO marketing framework and Group policies to develop campaigns and initiatives to drive growth for the Product Inspection Division. As the subject matter expert for metal detection, you will ensure the portfolio is accurately positioned, and all applicable promotional opportunities are leveraged to generate new leads.
- Manage divisional marketing projects in collaboration with other business units.
- Lead and develop a marketing team (via direct and matrix management), fostering an environment of growth and innovation while overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to understand trends, competitors, and customer applications to guide marketing strategies and product innovations.
- Leverage customer insights gained through on-site visits and industry events to help shape future product development plans, marcom and sales tools.
- Drive quality through delivery of a consistent brand image across both internal and external communications, ensuring brand guidelines and compliance requirements are adhered to.
- Provide inputs to site-specific stakeholder communications, including visitor and employee communications to support culture and engagement in an ever-changing business environment.
- Relevant industry experience (B2B) in Manufacturing (food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, chemical).
- Graduate level education with professional marketing qualification.
- At least 5 years’ experience managing people.
- Experience in developing Marketing strategies, launching products on a global level (whilst understanding of cultural differences, translation requirements, etc).
- Well-rounded experience including internal and external communications, with a solid understanding of digital communication tactics.
- Competent with Microsoft Office 365 software platform. Usage of InDesign and/or Photoshop would be desirable but not essential.
- Analytical approach with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work on site (Salford) at least 2 days a week.
