Manufacturing Services Manager

- Develop strategic initiatives and detailed roadmaps aligned with plant business objectives to drive growth and operational success.
- Lead operational excellence by focusing on Safety, Delivery, Quality, and Cost in daily execution.
- Manage and support continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing ease of doing business for both internal and external customers through digitalization, automation, and process improvement.
- Apply lean and agile principles to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
- Foster team engagement by recognizing achievements and celebrating departmental successes.
- Oversee the area’s level-up program to identify and cultivate opportunities for skill enhancement among team members, strengthening local plant support.
- Mentor and develop supervisors and managers to effectively manage departmental operations.
- Ensure alignment of overall service strategies across all teams to maintain consistency and effectiveness.
- Integrate the company’s Green Initiative into planning, procurement, and disposal activities to promote environmental sustainability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, Marketing Organizations (MOs), and Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to meet and exceed departmental goals.
- Prepare and present business cases for capital expenditure aimed at operational enhancements.
- Partner with production teams to implement preventative maintenance plans for all equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Guarantee rapid response to quality concerns and efficient management of Quality Notifications (QNs).
- Supervise customer return inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce incoming inspections.
- Control workflow to meet production targets while minimizing costs.
- Enforce strict adherence to shop safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Establish and monitor departmental budgets to ensure financial discipline.
- Achieve on-time delivery (OTD), lead time, warranty performance, failure analysis, and quality objectives.
- Develop comprehensive reports and performance metrics to track and improve team outcomes.
- Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned to support business needs.
- Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven managerial experience in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong leadership and people development skills, including mentoring and coaching
- Ability to motivate employees and foster teamwork
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact tactfully with personnel at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams to overcome complex challenges
- Demonstrated track record of implementing process improvements
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of quality management systems and compliance standards
- Budget management and cost control experience
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making
- Project management experience with ability to drive initiatives to completion
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Adaptability to changing priorities and working effectively under pressure
- Commitment to safety and enforcing safety protocols
- Customer-focused mindset and dedication to delivering high-quality results
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar field
- 7 years managerial experience in a manufacturing/repair environment
- Master’s degree in business administration is a plus
