    Are you a newly qualified or part-qualified finance professional ready to take your career to new heights? Do you have a passion for accuracy and a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a talented Financial Accountant to join our Finance department and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional financial reporting and management information.

    Position Overview:
    In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy of our monthly reporting and provide high-quality management information. Working closely with the Financial Reporting Manager and the Finance Business Partner, you will be integral in ensuring that key financial submissions are completed for both internal and external stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with our Finance Team to deliver accurate and timely monthly reporting to the Group within designated deadlines.
    • Assist the Financial Reporting Manager in preparing and submitting statutory compliance reports, including Intrastats and VAT returns, to HMRC/ROS.
    • Support the Finance Team in meeting internal and external audit requirements, ensuring efficient audit processes are in place.
    • Conduct SOx control testing, identify non-compliance, and implement necessary corrective actions.
    • Perform detailed analysis of overhead costs to aid business decision-making.
    • Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and financial records.
    What You Need to Succeed
    What You Need to Succeed: 
    • Newly qualified or part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional certification.
    • Proficient in Excel, with exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
    • Able to manage your workload effectively and meet deadlines.
    • Flexible and process-oriented, with a good understanding of SOx controls and compliance preferred.
    • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
    • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, paired with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
