Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
METTLER TOLEDO is a leading provider of precision instruments globally, we are seeking a Data Steward who will work with fix term employment contract of 24 months for our SAP transition process based in our İstanbul Altunizade office, with remote work flexibility.
The ideal candidate possesses:
  • Wide business process understanding
  • Advance level of English in written and spoken
  • Advance level of Excel (mandatory), MS Access (optional) 
  • Good training/presentation/discussion skills
  • High level of responsibility; Proactive, owns & drives topics, able and willing to make decisions
  • Diligent and pays attention to details
  • Eager to learn
  • Flexible & Agile
  • Ability to work in a Project environment: Structured and well organized, multiple tasks with changing priorities, many different stakeholders/Matrix organization, open minded to do new things
  • Strive for Efficiency 
  • Willingness to change/open minded; accepts and drives organizational change 
  • Ability to handle problems/high tolerance to frustration: Issues identified in housekeeping, end user complaints
  • Ability to interact with other teams/be a teamplayer
  • Ability to instruct team; persuasive 
What You Need to Succeed
As a Data Steward you will:
  • Roll-out new guidelines and policies 
  • Run data quality management reports for your unit, and identify anomalies that need to be fixed
  • Be responsible for coordinating any data cleansing as part of a migration or retrofit activity for your unit.
  • Be the liaison between your unit and the regional data governance team.
  • Be the “authorized” requestor for mass data changes 
  • Be the key contact for other business units to request approval for any update requests for data owned by your organization
  • Is power user of data management tools and processes
  • Responsible for training the data requestor on data processes and how data is maintained
