Field Service Team Leader - Scotland

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a Regional Service Team Leader to lead a team of field-based Service Technicians and drive operational excellence across our service business. This is an exciting opportunity for a people-focused leader with a strong technical background who thrives in a fast-paced field service environment. 
As Regional Service Team Leader, you will play a critical role in supporting service delivery, developing technician capability, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational targets are achieved. 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach and develop a regional team of Service Technicians to deliver outstanding service performance.
  • Monitor and drive KPI achievement across all areas of service operations.
  • Provide proactive operational support to technicians and the service back office.
  • Support service growth by conducting customer site surveys and identifying service and contract opportunities.
  • Drive technician development, cross-skilling and training initiatives to maximise regional capability and scheduling efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, customer site regulations and quality standards.
  • Foster a strong team culture focused on continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Proven experience leading or supervising a team of field-based service, engineering or technical professionals.
  • Experience managing operational performance through KPIs and service metrics.
  • Strong technical and engineering aptitude.
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
  • Ability to manage priorities, resolve issues and drive performance across a geographically dispersed team.
  • Good understanding of the service lifecycle and the relationship between service and sales activities.
  • Experience working across multiple product lines or business units.
