Telemarketing Specialist
Location Columbus, Ohio Date posted October 21, 2024 Job ID 17784- Call on customers to advise them of available products and services offerings.
- Entry of sales leads for external sales pursuit; and pursuit of select open leads for closure.
- Qualify sales leads by assessing need, budget, and buying authority. Obtain basic qualifying information including (but not limited to) time frame for purchase, decision maker(s), budget, influencing factors, and next step in the sales process.
- Effective nurturing of leads; building relationships by conducting ongoing, informative dialog that helps qualified prospects who are not yet sales-ready.
- Assist manager and senior management by providing monthly updates about recurring business issues that require a proactive approach, or trends that suggest alternate sales offers or approaches.
- Track all outbound and inbound calls in SAP and capture specific customer and product details related to the call.
- Willingness and ability to back up other divisions when called upon
- High School degree or equivalent, in combination with a minimum of 2 years direct experience in a customer service or sales operation.
- Prior experience working in a call center environment or related telephone call operation is desired.
- Candidates must possess the ability to utilize and work within a computerized business data system, including the ability to key a minimum of 40 WPM with accuracy.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US
