Location Columbia, Maryland, United States Date posted July 09, 2025 Job ID 19814 Pay Range $100k - $140k base + commission- Working with the sales team, developing and updating a comprehensive Strategic Farming Plan for F Account Focus Sites in the territory.
- Proactively approaching and developing business at F sites by addressing technical needs and applications to uncover opportunity and grow revenue, which could be pre- or post-sales activities depending on business needs or as directed by sales leadership.
- Identifying and developing sales opportunities and developing business for AutoChem products within the territory.
- Developing and bringing sales opportunities to technical-close.
- Providing technical consultative support during the sales process, including pre- and post-sales visits, onsite seminars, customer training, technical consulting, and AFTs.
- Directing the transfer of knowledge and data from application feasibility studies, industrial and academic applications, and technical journals and publications to product management for development.
- Identifying opportunities to execute SVS (Strategic Value Stories) with key contacts in F accounts.
- Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field required. PhD preferred. MBA or other business degree is also an asset.
- Five (5) years in sales, marketing laboratory, business developing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Additional experience within situ analytical technology, such as FTIR or Raman is preferred.
- Experience in crystallization, process development, Process Analytical technology, pharmaceutical industry, specialty, chemicals, or particle characterization (FBRM, PVM).
- Ability to travel between 50%-70% within the western territory depending on location.
