Technical Business Development
Location Calgary, Alberta Date posted October 18, 2024 Job ID 17717- Work to support and improve sales of our direct and indirect sales channels including Field Sales, Tele sales, Inside Sales and Agent Sales.
- Collaborate to both help manage agents in our Western Region and direct sales in Eastern Regions to improve product position within key and target accounts.
- Work directly in improving product position amongst system integrators and fabricators.
- Research market applications and trends to draw insightful conclusions towards business case development, target identification and increasing market penetration for gas analytics.
- Work to meet annual targets by actively participating in account selection process and identifying key accounts while utilizing a variety of key account strategies.
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to educate, inform, and solicit orders.
- Serve as a level two support for technical pre and post-sale challenges supporting all stakeholders with the METTLER TOELDO value stream leveraging both industry specific knowledge,
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline (chemistry preferred) or equivalent experience is required
- 3+ years of experience in business development or sales is required (Industrial Segments, Chemical, Oil & Gas are Preferred)
- Related experience with liquid analytical instrumentation in relationship to chemical processes or related fields are preferred
- Willing to travel including overnights
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
