Regional Sales Manager - Process Analytics
Location Billerica, Massachusetts Date posted December 13, 2024 Job ID 18236 Pay Range $130k-$140k total compensation- Developing and implementing annual sales plans with each channel partners.
- Meeting/exceeding sales quotas for each agency and territory according to sales plans.
- Working with channel partners to implement effective pipeline management and developing and implementing account penetration plans.
- Diligently utilizing CRM to manage pipelines; populating customer contacts; maintaining updated customer and opportunity details; incorporating notes and activities prior to and following each call; recording activities after each visit or event; generating quotations; etc.
- Taking corrective action to address shortfalls in goal attainment by indirect channel partners, including new rep recruitment or rep termination in accordance with Mettler Toledo Process Analytics representative contract.
- Regularly traveling and/or conducting virtual meetings with and providing training, coaching, and motivation to sales channel to increase competency so they can meet/exceed sales quotas and we can capture more of their time in selling our products and services.
- Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with key Process Industry customers with the ultimate goal of becoming their primary supplier for analytical instrumentation.
- Conducting group product demonstrations and PowerPoint presentations based on a high level of product and application competence within assigned market segments.
- Providing monthly pulse reports summarizing sales activities and opportunities, including a 30-60-90-day opportunity pipeline.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, preferably chemistry or microbiology, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing manufacturer's representatives or direct sales personnel.
- Proficient in CRM, Microsoft Office, and Teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
