    Software Engineer Professional-Test

    Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
    • Implement and maintain reusable code for test automation.
    • Participate in test design, implementation and Code reviews.
    • Implement and enforce all processes for testing / test automation development as per standards defined by the organization.
    • Meet the quality and test automation schedule targets for your project.
    • Identify and handle the dependencies and risks in scope of your assigned tasks.
    • Ensure content and structure of all testing / test automation artifacts are documented and maintained.
    • Adhere to development coding standards.
    • Collaborate with project stakeholders across time zones.
    • Willing to work from office on a daily basis as it is Equipment dependent
    What You Need to Succeed
    Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering or any related field
    Graduates with Test automation engineering background (using Python)

    Experience: 4+ years of experience in testing domain, with a minimum of 3+ years in test automation (predominantly Python)

    Required skills:
    • Professional programming skills in Python
    • Basic experience in Git
    • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Understanding and analyzing the requirements.
    • Design robust test cases.
    • Implement testcase based on those requirements and test designs.
    • Ability to perform manual testing.
    • Analyze failed test cases, follow the defect management process and resolve issues.
    • A passion for clean code.
    • Good Understanding of Development life cycle and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban etc.)
    • Willingness to work in an international team across time zones, preferably has prior experience collaborating with international teams.
    • Fluent in English (oral and written)

    Nice to have:
    • ISTQB or equivalent Certification (Foundation)
    • Experience in instrument firmware testing is a plus.
    • Knowledge on Squish tool
    • knowledge on CI/CD pipelines
    • Knowledge of Lab balances / Laboratory domain is a plus
