    Senior Product Manager

    Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
    METTLER TOLEDO supports laboratories with years of experience in providing the necessary analytical equipment. Our products are characterized by the highest quality, combined with simple, intuitive operation and ergonomic, user-centric design. As we expand our footprint in the life science and biopharma sectors, we are looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Product Manager 80-100% (all genders)

    In this role, your responsibilities would include: 
    • You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and external partners, to drive product success.
    • You conduct market research and drive Voice-of-Customer initiatives to validate product-market fit and refine the value proposition.
    • You develop and implement comprehensive product roadmaps, timelines, and budgets while managing risks and issues proactively.
    • You facilitate regular product meetings and maintain clear communication among stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
    • You monitor product performance metrics and deliver regular status updates to senior management.
    • You drive product positioning and messaging, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.
    • You foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by gathering insights and feedback from customers and market trends.
    What You Need to Succeed
    Following requirements are necessary for this role: 
    • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or relevant Master’s in Life Science fields) is preferred.
    • You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management in the life sciences or related fields, preferably with a focus on instrument development
    • You possess strong leadership and strategic thinking skills to motivate cross-functional teams and develop product strategies that align with market needs.
    • You have a solid technical acumen in life science instruments, combined with exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities to present information clearly and navigate challenges effectively within a matrix organization.
    • You demonstrate flexibility and collaboration, working effectively with external partners and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • We require professional communication skills in English, German is an advantage
    • Willingness to travel about 15-20%
