Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
  • Develop product and domain knowledge
  • Participate and contribute in all relevant phases of the software development lifecycle and adheres to the test process
  • Analyze requirements, apply suitable test design techniques and create manual test cases that are easy to read and maintain
  • Providing sensible workflows covering multiple requirements to lower execution and automation efforts
  • Ensure 100% test coverage.
  • Manual test execution, logging defects and retesting of defects. Explain the defects to the project team as required. 
  • Defect verification.
  • Setting up and maintaining the test environment including test hardware. 
  • Maintenance of existing test cases based on changes in requirements
  • Take part in test case reviews
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving defects along with root cause analysis. Adheres to testing best practices and contribute to their continuous improvement to meet product quality goals
  • Preparing Test Plans based on specific release scopes
  • Able to work independently on assigned tasks
  • Communicates the test progress against the plan to project team
  • Active participation in project meetings and discussions to ensure quality of deliverables
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and backlog refinement
  • Work in an international environment with a multicultural team
  • Exhibit excellent team spirit and good in communication
  • 90-100% work from office

What You Need to Succeed
  • Qualification: BE / B. Tech / ME / M. Tech / MCA
  • 4-7 years’ relevant experience in system testing or testing in embedded systems. 
  • Ability to analyse and review requirements towards bring in clarity to the development team
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently to resolve complex issues in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new concepts.
  • Can take initiatives and drive them to completion.
  • You must have good knowledge in software development processes including agile methodologies and have applied in your daily work
  • Hands on experience with ALM / Test management tools e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA, IBM ALM, HP QC etc 
  • Good in communication and collaboration
Nice to have:
  • ISTQB foundation level
  • Basic OOS knowledge
