    Product Cyber Security Engineer

    Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
    ⚔️The Product Cyber Security Engineer ensures MT products have essential Cybersecurity features, collaborates with the Head of Product Cyber Security, and manages related projects with METTLER TOLEDO subsidiaries⚔️.

    This position is a combination of two main areas: 
    • Acting as an internal hacker performing penetration tests to challenge our product's Cyber security,
    • Cooperating with the team of developers, business analysts, product specialists on security improvements.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Support product development teams in triaging vulnerabilities and recommending remediation to reduce false positives,
    • Assist the PSIRT Team in incident detection and response, serving as the main technical contact for security advisories related to ICS-CERT, 
    • Evaluate and recommend third-party tools to enhance the Cybersecurity of MT software applications,
    • Integrate relevant policies, regulations, and standards into corporate tools for software delivery,
    • Analyze customer needs and translate them into functional/non-functional requirements to boost product Cybersecurity,
    • Stay updated on Cybersecurity technologies, trends, and threats, monitoring industry developments and implementing protective solutions for products and customer data,
    • Create and maintain user manuals and process documentation,
    • Conduct user training for new functionalities and refresh training.
    What You Need to Succeed
    • Good knowledge of software development (any programming language is a plus), 
    • Knowledge of software security processes (SCA, SAST, DAST, Penetration Testing),
    • Familiar with vulnerability databases and scoring methodologies such as CVE, NVD, and CVSS,
    • Knowledge of secure device identity, secure boot, system integrity, secure updates and secure communication practices,
    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken,
    • Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely.
