- Correlates data across various reports and systems to find trends, forward looking indicators, and root causes
- Conducts analysis both at the micro and macro levels
- Provides key support in monthly management reporting
- Provides key support for the accuracy and timeliness of the monthly and annual closing and the related financial reporting such as journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Provides key support of management reporting and analysis including but not limited to sales, margins/costs, expenses, sales forecasts, and balance sheet trends and assists explaining/documenting key fluctuations vs. prior year, budget, and forecast
- Supporting the compilation and development of financial reporting and analysis
- Responsible for building accurate reporting of inventory and cost of goods sold in acordance with U.S. GAAP
- Liaise and collaborate with stakeholders at different levels across the organization
- Significant active participation in the financial planning and budgeting processes
- Support strategic initiates as a key contributor from the definition to project management
- Other duties or tasks as assigned
- Excellent computer skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Hyperion, ERP System
- Excellent organizational skills and analytical ability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Must be detail oriented and accurate with data and reporting while maintaining confidentiality where necessary
- Builds trust, able to engage in a productive conflict, committed, self-accountable, and able to drive collectives results
- Flexible, humble, self-motivated, diligent, demonstrates common sense about people, and able to prioritize
- BS/BA in Accounting / Finance (CPA and/or MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting / financial analysis
- SAP experience (required minimum 3 years at recent job) / BI experience (preferred)
