Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Voice Engineer for our Columbus, Ohio location. As a Voice Engineer within the Digital Workplace Solutions team, you will contribute to the delivery of projects to upgrade existing solutions and the deployment of new technology and solutions to enhance the end user voice communication experience of over 17,000 employees at Mettler Toledo. You will also support operations leveraging internal and partner resources to enhance the quality of service provided by the voice solutions. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Responsible for the delivery of functional assessment and solution design as directed by the Communications and Messaging team lead to meet project requirements and designed for future growth and scalability 
  • Responsible for delivering implementation tasks according to the requirements and design specifications 
  • Responsible for day-to-day level 2 operational support for business services provided by the Communications and Messaging team 
  • Responsible for the on-time delivery of change requests (corrections and enhancements) as assigned by team lead 
  • Enforce global solution designs and policies (e.g. group policies) across the enterprise 
  • Deliver training to Regional IT services team personnel (level 1 support) and local IT site support teams as needed to improve service delivery 
  • Support the continuous improvement of the overall service through process improvement initiatives such as knowledge base article creation, and process automation
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with managing voice policies and configuration of Microsoft Teams is required 
  • Experience preferred working with Microsoft 365 Phone System, calling plans and Direct routing 
  • Experience designing, implementing, supporting, managing and configuring Microsoft Teams Meeting Room Systems 
  • Experience working with carriers for managing local numbers, porting numbers. 
  • Certifications preferred - Microsoft MS-700 and MS-721, AudioCodes/Ribbon Certified Associate or higher and ITIL qualifications. 
  • Experience with operational monitoring of voice call quality and evaluating root cause (network, platform provider) 
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Office 365) with focus on Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Teams 
  • Willingness to learn new platforms and quickly adapt to situations
