Software Engineer Senior - Test

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 3+ years of work experience in manual tester role & 3+ years of work experience in automation tester role.
  • Professional programming skills in C#/.Net
  • Experiences in building test automation frameworks with focus on white box testing
  • Familiarity with best practices in UI test automation and tools like Appium.
  • Experiences with continuous integration systems and agile methodologies (preferably in Azure DevOps)
  • Ability to read and understand requirements written in English and implement the needed tests
  • Good understanding about testing process, test design techniques, defect management and methodology
  • Experience working with code repositories such as GitHub / TFS-GIT
  • Experience in automated test suite integration with CICD pipelines
  • Understanding of databases and services 
  • Self-organized and able to guide less experienced Engineers.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
Nice to have skills:
  • Basic knowledge of Database Administrator role
  • Hands-on experience with SQL language
  • Understanding of Cloud - Azure or AWS

What You Need to Succeed
  • Excellent in developing test cases for a very complex system, analyzing change requests around the existing requirements.
  • Collaborate with Requirement Engineers and development team to understand features behavior and then define and contribute suitable automated test solutions. 
  • Design, implement and maintain reusable automated tests.
  • Conduct design and code reviews of automated tests with team members.
  • Supporting end-to-end defect management lifecycle, including providing stakeholders with appropriate reporting 
  • Participate in test pipeline maintenance rotation and ensure pipeline failures are prioritized properly.
  • Analyze our software systems and collaborate with others to improve the overall design, testability, and quality.
  • Work together with DevOps team to set up and maintain test automation in CI/CD pipeline / infrastructure.
  • Ensure that test outcomes are easily accessible, transparent, timely and generated automatically.
  • Work on test execution optimizations, fast feedback loops and test parallelization in distributed environments.
  • Work closely with developers to analyze architecture and implement detailed test coverage on service, integration system and UI level.
  • Adhere to development coding standards and recommend continuous improvement of processes for test automation.
  • Assist Test Lead / Test Manager in preparing test reports.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders across time zones.
