Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
As a Weighing Field Service Technician, you will be the face of the company, providing high-level technical support, maintenance, and calibration services for a wide range of industrial weighing equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys traveling to client sites and ensuring precision and compliance.

Key Responsibilities: 

Technical Service Delivery: Lead on-site technical duties, including the professional installation, preventative maintenance, and emergency repair of weighing equipment.

Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Provide high-level technical support to customers, answering complex questions and troubleshooting mechanical or electronic issues in person or remotely.

Precision Documentation: Document all service activities with high attention to detail. Maintain accurate service records and calibration certificates to ensure customer compliance with industry standards.

Commercial Insight: Identify "Service Opportunities"—such as aging equipment or the need for new service contracts—and pass these leads to the Service Sales team to support business growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the scheduling and parts departments to ensure effective communication and the seamless coordination of site visits.

Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all activities are performed in strict adherence to health and safety regulations and metrological standards.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Experience in a field service environment, with a consistent track record of performing high-level technical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • A strong technical foundation with an understanding of electronics and mechanics.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear solutions for customers.
  • A valid driver’s license and the flexibility to travel across the designated territory to meet our customers where they need us most.
