Responsibilities:

• Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand Automation needs and systems requirements.
• Responsible for inception and design the application. 
• Preparation of final solutions aligned with customers requirement.
• Conversant with Industrial Automation products like: PLC, DCS, Sensors, Material Handling, etc
• PLC Programing and process knowledge with respect to applications
• Adapt and follow MT Global guidelines for Weighing Device to PLC integrations, modify samplecodes to suit customer requirements
• Preparation of BOQs/BOMs, Solution Architecture design.
• Solution implementation, DEMO or POC and system integration.
• Provides expertise and support to sales teams for automation products and services
• Represent Mettler Toledo in different forums and pre-bid meetings/ Seminar/demo
• Flexible in supporting team to meet the sales team’s deadline to the clients.
• Develop new applications periodically and share new applications' success stories
• Propose first time right, Product/solution/application by leveraging existing standard products and make proposal to product manager and SBU head for Product gaps.
• Provide automation product/application training to sales & refresher trainings

• Qualifications and Technical Skills:
• BE/Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electronics
• 5-6 years experience
• Worked with System integrators/Automation companies
• Experience with PLC- weighing devices integration will be an added advantage
• Handled Automation projects independently
