Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Have you completed a technical education and are you ready for your first career step in the interesting field of technology and automation? Then read on now! We are looking for a new colleague for our engineering team and we are happy to train you further within our organization. 

We are looking for a junior Engineer who will be co-responsible for developing high-quality technological solutions for industrial weighing equipment. You will work in a small, close-knit team of hardware and software engineers at an international market leader in the field of weighing technology.

What are you going to do?
As a junior Engineer, you will be involved in every step of the development of our weighing, measurement and detection systems; from requirements to devising, developing the entire system and testing. 
You are responsible for the technical design, taking into account the established specifications and guidelines. 

Your day-to-day work will include: 
•Translating customer requirements into a design;
•Drawing electrical diagrams and technical drawings;
•Designing, drawing and detailing mechanical components/products;
•Testing the realized solution based on the specifications and the technical design;
•Knowledge of PLC systems such as Siemens S7
•Integrating the various Mettler Toledo modules (via various field-bus communication systems);
•You contribute to improvements in electrical/mechanical schematics, tools and documentation and you participate in the development of standards.

What You Need to Succeed
•You have at least a bachelor's degree in one of the following directions: Electrical Engineering/Electromechanics/Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering or similar; 
•You have knowledge of E-Plan;
•You have knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor;
•You have an affinity with automation;
•You have a good command of the Dutch and English language (must);
•You are customer-oriented and function both independently and in a team;
•You are accurate, communicative, structured and a go-getter; 
•You live within a radius of +/- 50 km around Tiel (pre).
