Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The AI Solutions team is part of the Data, Analytics & Automation department of METTLER TOLEDO’s Digital Business Solutions Organization. The global AI Solutions team is responsible for designing and implementing advanced algorithms and applications that utilize Artificial Intelligence and collaborates closely with other departments to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions. 

For our AI Team, we are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on Frontend development, particularly using React, Next.js and others, to drive the creation of innovative AI and automation solutions. 

  • Frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript industry standard frameworks (especially with React/Next.JS).
  • Develop backend services primarily with Python to support AI functionalities Design and manage databases, including MSSQL and NoSQL (object, document, vector databases).
  • Work closely with the Data, Analytics & Automation team to gather and refine requirements.
  • Participate in solution architecture and contribute to overall design decisions.
  • Ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices.
  • Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for code and processes.
  • Stay current with emerging AI, Frontend, and full stack development trends and technologies.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in software development 
  • Strong expertise in Frontend development with React and Next.js, using JavaScript/TypeScript, other frameworks are a plus.
  • Solid experience with backend development with Python Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., MSSQL and others) and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning concepts is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication skills as well as being able to understand end user or business language.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a global, cross-functional team.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to high-quality code Interest to adopt and learn most recent technologies.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
