Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
METTLER TOLEDO is looking for a Field Sales Specialist to join our Process Analytics team, responsible for driving sales growth across the North UK region (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle). This is an exciting opportunity to manage and grow key accounts, develop new business opportunities, and work with industry-leading process analytical solutions.

As a Field Sales Specialist, you will take ownership of a defined territory, focusing on key growth accounts and market segments. You will work closely with customers to understand their challenges, identify opportunities, and deliver solutions that help them improve process performance, quality, and compliance.

  • Develop and grow sales within designated key accounts and market sectors.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across the territory.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
  • Deliver against quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Create and execute account development plans.
  • Work collaboratively with technical, service, and sales colleagues across the business.
  • Utilise CRM and digital sales tools to manage opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities.

What You Need to Succeed
Essential
  • Sales experience, ideally in a field-based role.
  • Confident winning new business and growing existing customer accounts.
  • Well organised and able to manage a sales territory effectively.
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and decision-makers at all levels.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory 

Desirable
  • Degree in Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related subject.
  • Experience selling into industries such as pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, chemicals, water treatment, life sciences, or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of process instrumentation, sensors, or industrial technology.
