Offering technical solutions that help your customers comply with food safety regulations. That is your challenge as an Account Manager for Checkweighing, Metal Detection, and Vision Inspection solutions in Belgium. You specialize in product inspection machines that detect metal contamination in food products and verify the contents and quantity of packaged goods. How rewarding is it to contribute directly to consumer safety?
You will spend most of your week visiting new and existing customers throughout Belgium. These range from global industry leaders to local companies in the food and beverage sector. Investing in our machines is a significant decision that is not made overnight. That is why you deliver compelling sales presentations, guiding customers through the capabilities and benefits of our solutions. Together, you work toward the most suitable solution for their specific needs. Because we continuously innovate and enhance the functionality of our equipment, you will always have something new and valuable to discuss with your customers. You visit clients, create account plans, and develop relationships with new prospects. Naturally, all activities are recorded in our CRM system.
Although you work independently and spend much of your time on the road, you will also collaborate closely with colleagues. For example, you may consult with a Project Manager when one of your customers requires a more complex solution, or speak with a fellow Account Manager who has previously visited a particular company. In addition, you will be part of a friendly and supportive team. What You Need to Succeed
You have the drive to convince customers and prospects of the value of our solutions. These solutions are tailor-made, and that is exactly what energizes you. You are not afraid to pick up the phone and have a natural ability to understand customer needs. At the same time, you have a good understanding of technical concepts and challenges, allowing you to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Whether you are meeting with customers, brainstorming with a Project Manager, or collaborating with our Marketing team on a campaign, you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
What else do you bring to the table?
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in a commercial or technical field.
- You have experience in a sales role selling industrial machinery, preferably to the food and beverage industry.
- You have a passion for technology and engineering.
- You are fluent in Flemish, French and English.
- You hold a valid Category B driving license.
