Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Responsibilities
  • Month end activities and data integrity, posting of month end adjustments/accruals/other Journal entries, validation errors and submission of financial data in Reporting System.
  • Ledger scrutiny and analysis with resolution]
  • Fixed asset Accounting (Creation, Disposal, Modifications, Depreciation, Reconciliation)
  • Reconciliation- Bank, Prepayments, Accruals, Provisions, AP, AR, Inter Company recons
  • General Ledger account maintenance,
  • MIS
  • Operational Excellence through Process documentation, Process Quality Initiatives
  • Attending to audit queries
  • Ensuring regular communication with Business Unit personnel to ensure issues are resolved immediately
  • SOX compliance for related activities
12-9pm/2-11pm/5:30pm - 2:30am (UK/US Timings)

What You Need to Succeed
Prior Experience
  • Journal Entry preparation and posting
  • Fixed Asset process understanding
  • Has been doing Reconciliation- Bank, Prepayments, Accruals, Provisions independently
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Ledger scrutiny
Qualification: B. Com/M.com or CA Inter/ CMA

  • Good communication skills
  • Quick Learner
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within a multi-cultural, international environment
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

Technical Skills
  • Accounting fundamentals: should be able to create journal entries on own.
  • Strong understanding of the process and should be able to understand accounting flow of entries in different types of accounts.
  • Basic MS Word & advanced Excel knowledge
