Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
As our Field Application Specialist, you will support Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and Channel Partners with technical sales aspects, including equipment startup, troubleshooting, training, and customer site visits. You will also serve as the primary regional resource for pre- and post-sales technical support. Additional responsibilities will include: 
  • Provide post-sales technical support and equipment startup. 
  • Assist sales teams with troubleshooting and application support. 
  • Conduct onsite customer training and technical seminars. 
  • Accompany sales teams on customer visits. 
  • Help manage key sales opportunities. 
  • Develop expertise in industries such as food & beverage, microelectronics, power, chemical processing, industrial, and pharmaceutical.
What You Need to Succeed
  • 3-5 years' experience in relevant industrial sectors. 
  • Technical knowledge of liquid analytical products. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. 
  • Experience with sales processes in key market segments. 
  • Ideally live near a major airport in TX, CO, OR, or AZ. Ability to travel overnight up to 70%.

About Mettler Toledo

The Process Analytics division within METTLER TOLEDO (www.mt.com/pro) produces analytical measurement solutions for industrial manufacturing processes, allowing manufacturing companies to better control their production through at-line, on-line or in-line analytical measurements. We have over 60 years of experience as a leader in the industry of liquid process analytics and ultrapure water analytics. In addition to water analytics, MTPRO also offers a portfolio of sensors for gas process analytics. 

Product applications include:

  • Measurement of pH and dissolved oxygen in biopharmaceutical and biotech fermentation processes.
  • Measurement of conductivity and pH in a range of chemical applications.
  • Measurement of turbidity, CO2 and O2 in beer production.

Our high value products are produced in Billerica, Massachusetts US, Switzerland, and China, and sold by Mettler-Toledo Market Organizations (MOs) worldwide.
