We are looking for a Regional Service Manager to lead our field service operations across the south of the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people manager who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment and is motivated by improving operational performance, customer satisfaction, and service excellence.
Reporting to the Head of Service, you will be responsible for leading a team of Service Technicians, driving service strategy execution, managing regional performance, and building strong customer relationships.
As Regional Service Manager, you will:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Service Technicians to achieve outstanding performance and customer satisfaction.
- Drive operational excellence by implementing service strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor service performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage regional service operations, including resource planning, scheduling, staffing, and workload allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer support.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Manage regional service budgets and operational expenditure.
- Maintain accurate documentation and service processes to support business objectives.
What You Need to Succeed
- Proven experience leading field service, technical, engineering, or operational service teams.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent customer relationship and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with SAP CRM, Salesforce, or similar service management systems.
