Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Dispatcher to work in our Columbus, Ohio location. As a Dispatcher, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our service operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will directly impact our Field Service Technicians' productivity and our company’s success in meeting our revenue goals.

Your Responsibilities:

Maximize Efficiency: Schedule and route our talented technicians to ensure timely service delivery while balancing customer priorities, workload demands, and material availability.

Adapt and Overcome: Analyze and adjust work assignments for Field Service Technicians to respond to changing requirements and demands, ensuring top-notch service.

Engage with Customers: Communicate effectively with customers to schedule planned maintenance visits, manage changes, and provide support that enhances customer satisfaction and order closure.

What You Need to Succeed

An associate’s degree in business, communications, or a related field is preferred, along with at least two years of planning, coordination, collections and/or scheduling experience in service, logistics, or manufacturing. Alternatively, five years of relevant experience will also be considered.
Prior experience in a field service or small business environment is a plus.
Familiarity with SAP or similar business systems will set you apart.
This is a hybrid role based in our Columbus, Ohio office, where you'll need to work on-site at least three days a week.
