Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Complete accurate assembly functions and quality product assembly utilizing production supporting documentation; including but not limited to production orders, standard work, blueprints and other documents related to the assembly of products all while accurately entering data into the ERP (e.g. SAP) system and ensure that the orders are assembled appropriately. In addition, all items in the BOM are accurately picked/packed. What you will do:
  • Maintain accurate written records such as production orders, test sheets, shipping documentation, pack lists, and Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) sheets.
  • Maintain stock control, pull items for orders, assemble / pack products, work in other departments, and complete other related duties as required to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team or an individual basis as well as safe and effective use of tools such as banders, cutters, staplers, hand / pneumatic tools, and hand tools (power screwdriver, torque wrench, hand wrenches, etc.).
  • Basic computer knowledge / skills and use of SAP).
  • Demonstrate good attendance and punctuality record.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Apply basic computer skills involving SAP and Microsoft Office, as well as aid in accurate collection of SQDC data.
What You Need to Succeed
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Ability to understand fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.
  • Ability and drive to meet customer quality and delivery requirements.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to inspect own work and the work of others.
  • Ability to work overtime when required (some could be on weekends).
  • Ability to work from order schedules as well as verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to use of forklifts, pallet jacks and handcarts and use of cranes and jib hoists.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow shipping / assembly / test / quality assurance procedures and engineering prints. Adhere to 5S standards and practices.
  • Ability to participate in a 5S and Lean initiatives.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Ability to work overtime.
This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.
