Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

As part of our strategic business transformation program aiming at standardizing our major business processes globally and introducing SAP, we are searching for a SAP SCM Solution Specialist Planning and Manufacturing to be responsible for the process area of Planning and Manufacturing.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to end / key user on the system / template processes through incident handling and Resolve incidents according to defined SLA targets.
  • Maintain user-friendly communication and present service minded approach to business users.
  • Perform and be responsible for all the SCM Planning and Manufacturing related customizing and developments which are related to defects in the productive environment and / or new enhancements to the template including related documents.
  • Contribute, Support and responsible to the projects and Roll-ins you are assigned to and act as a single point of contact to the Roll-in and project Team.
  • Collaborate with Business Transformation Expert, Delivery, Cutover, Business users and other cross functional product teams during difference phases of Roll-in from Requirement gathering until business go live & Hypercare support.
  • Provide an update to Product owner on the progress, issues, risks of the roll-in and projects.
  • Continuously update the process and system knowledge and share it to the team through Knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Review and understand the user stories requirement, translate business / user story requirement to technical requirement and solution proposal.
  • Escalate appropriately through the team / Product Owner, if any decision made are risking the quality/integrity of your area of the template, create additional risk or simply does not fulfill the business case portrayed in your opinion.
  • Evaluate and analyze any impact of requirement and solution proposal to the existing template process, design a sustainable solution and document and get reviewed and approved with Solution Architect.
  • Perform Unit Test and System Integration Test for the developed or customized solution, coordinate & coach Business user to complete User Acceptance Test on planned timeline, define Regression Test scope in case of no RGR test cases available create them in HPQC and handover the test cases to QC Team.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the other members of the global SCM team and other functional teams like Sales, Service, Finance, HCM to discuss requirements and problems from business side.
  • As Solution Specialist, create the functional and technical specifications for enhancements, interfaces and data migration.
  • Support process documentation, test cases definition as well as provide inputs to the training team for training material creation.
What You Need to Succeed
  • More than 3 years of professional experience with SAP Production & Planning in the areas of:
    • Sales and Operation Planning, Forecasting,
    • Demand Management, Long Term Planning,
    • Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Material Requirements planning (MRP),
    • Production Scheduling, Shopfloor Management and Availability To Promise.
  • Understanding of overall SCM End-to-End process would be a bonus as well as some basic ABAP skills.
  • Experience with inter/intra-company processes, MTS (Make-To-Stock), MTO (Make-To-Order), ETO (Engineer-to-Order) and VC (Variant configuration) and its relation with planning processes.
  • Conduction of at least two similar implementation projects with a full life-cycle, including design, customizing, testing and training.
  • Very good skills in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Availability for frequent traveling to foreign countries (international, 20 – 50% depending on the project phase).
  • Ability to work in a global and fast moving environment.

Nice to have:

  • Additional experience in the following areas a plus; Materials Management, Warehouse Management, Sales and Distribution, Delivery and Outbound Management and Quality management.
  • Experience in S/4 HANA, DDMRP, IBP, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), PPDS and APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling)
