Sr. Electrical Engineer

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the full electrical design lifecycle for sensor and transmitter products, with a focus on optics, photometers, and sensor systems. This technical role requires deep analog/mixed-signal expertise, strong PCB layout skills, and broad systems-level judgment. Key responsibilities: 
  • Lead end-to-end electrical design including part selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototype bring-up, validation, and transition to manufacturing. 
  • Design analog front-end circuits such as low-noise amplifiers, transimpedance amplifiers, filters, and ADC interfaces. 
  • Manage power regulation, EMI/EMC mitigation, and optical sensor system design (LED/photodiode drive, optical filtering, calibration). 
  • Develop and debug prototypes across analog, digital, and embedded domains. 
  • Create automated and manual test systems using Python, LabVIEW, or similar. 
  • Produce comprehensive documentation: schematics, test plans, reports, and manufacturing packages. 
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers for production transfer and support. 
  • Ensure compliance with safety, EMC, and regulatory standards for industrial and biopharma environments. 
  • Serve as the primary EE technical authority in cross-functional projects.
What You Need to Succeed
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree strongly preferred. 
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience owning complex hardware projects. 
  • Proficient with PCB design tools (Altium, Mentor Graphics, KiCAD, etc.) and advanced PCB layout skills. 
  • Deep expertise in analog/mixed-signal design, signal conditioning, and shielding. 
  • Hands-on experience with optical sensor systems and photometer design. 
  • Experience with transmitter and sensor interface electronics in industrial/process environments. 
  • Skilled in prototype bring-up and lab troubleshooting with test equipment. 
  • Experience developing test automation and custom test rigs.
