    Finance & Accounting Manager

    Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
    • Manage, control and ensure that company accounting activities and procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) 
    • Ensure that all financial transactions are handled and processed in-line with the approved policies and procedures 
    • Oversee the daily operations of the finance department 
    • Prepare the monthly financial reports with all needed financial and costing analysis comparing with Budget and KPIs Manage the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses 
    • Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions 
    • Establish and implement short-range and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures  Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments 
    • Ensure that financial controls are in place at functions and provide recommendations for procedural improvements 
    • Perform other duties as assigned 
    • Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts in coordination with the Management Teams 
    • Prepare monthly cash flow forecast, monitor the actual cash flow against forecast and take the necessary measure to remedy variances 
    • Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies and monitor terms, conditions and covenants and ensure compliance with the same 
    • Ensure compliance with budgetary reporting requirements 
    • Lead and coordinate with all other departments the preparation of annual operating budgets and develop business plans for the company as appropriate 
    • Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives 
    • Provide needed support to the Management Teams in developing financial and budget policies and procedures. 
    • Perform other duties as assigned 
    • Oversight of logistic functions and coordination with accounting 
    • Serve as primary legislative liaison for company financial issues ? Clearly and concisely communicate business and area objectives to team leaders so that they remain well informed of business activity and of their required contribution across the MT's business units ? Take charge of recruitment and ensure effective induction for new team members, monitoring ongoing performance needs ? Manage performance and development of team 
    What You Need to Succeed
    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting 
    • Minimum 5-10 years working experience in a senior level Finance or Accounting position in a MNC environment with extensive supervision experience 
    • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) professional qualification preferred 
    • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) 
    • General knowledge of SAP Systems and the relation of other modules with accounting and finance modules and the associated controls 
    • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems such as Hyperion system 
    • Knowledge of Government financial regulations 
    • Competent in Advanced Excel & Microsoft Office applications, experience of accounting systems and writing reports 
    • Good organisational experience with the ability to prioritise conflicting workloads and ability to work to deadlines 
    • Strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability 
    • Preferred: Employee management experience and an empowering leadership style
