If you like collaborating in a team that organizes its priorities together and appreciate the variety of a generalist role, this could be a great fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of permissions for large data volumes and file structures.
  • Participation in SOX audits and controls (e.g. patching, antivirus, AD access).
  • Participation in, and in some cases taking responsibility for, rollouts of hardware and software.
  • Basic client engineering and packaging tasks.
  • Technical responsibility for defined workplace topics and actively contributing to the further development of standards, processes, and documentation.
  • Contributing to the coordination of workplace activities across sites and independently prioritizing tasks within the team.
  • Providing deputy support to Area IT Management in day-to-day operations (e.g. prioritization, escalations, coordination).
  • Communication and coordination with internal and external IT partners and vendors in connection with changes, updates, and incidents.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Completed training as an IT specialist or comparable technical basic training.
  • Several years of experience in a workplace, endpoint or client-focused IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of products, market and technology in the areas of PCs, printers, mobile devices, LAN as well as Office and collaboration solutions.
  • Sound experience with Windows operating systems, MS Office products and ideally Dell hardware.
  • Experience with SCCM, Intune and software packaging is an advantage.
  • Strong service and customer focus, with a communicative and team-oriented personality.
  • Confident and supportive approach to internal stakeholders and specialist teams, with a proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership.
  • Fluent in English; German is highly beneficial, but not required.
Our Offer to You
  • Flexible working hours (depending on the role), a hybrid work model, and a wide portfolio of training opportunities
  • A 40-hour work week with at least 25 vacation days per year, plus 4 to 7 additional days off between bank holidays
  • Free parking and direct access to public transport
  • Employees in Urdorf can purchase monthly lunch checks and enjoy healthy meals at a reduced price, either externally or in our cafeteria
  • A range of additional attractive benefits, including employee discounts at select area businesses
You can expect challenging, interesting, and varied tasks in an innovative and international environment, with the opportunity to network globally and achieve your career goals.
