Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
For our Laboratory Weighing (LabTec) division, which is the world's leading manufacturer of laboratory balances, we are looking for the Greifensee location, METTLER TOLEDO's global operational headquarters, for an enthusiastic Team Lead Requirements Engineering 80-100% (all genders).

In this role, your responsibilities would include: 
  • You lead the Requirements Engineering Team: develop individual team members; foster a positive team-spirit, align organization and stakeholders; continuously develop and optimize the RE processes and tools
  • You contribute as Requirements Engineer in development projects 
  • You are in charge of requirements elicitation, structuring and documentation, in order to translate product ideas into clear SW & HW requirements that are the basis for implementation, testing and documentation
  • Furthermore, you will ensure efficient and effective collaboration as well as know-how transfer between different Product Groups, Product Managers and R&D
  • The implementation of best practices and the moderation of workshops and reviews belong also to your area of responsibility
  • You visualize concepts and ideas, and develop the basis for decision-making
What You Need to Succeed
Following requirements are necessary for this role: 
  • You have a bachelor or master’s degree in a scientific, engineering or computer science discipline, and relevant working experience in RE
  • You gained at least 2-3 years of leadership experience, people development and managing projects or initiatives
  • Solid background in requirements engineering, experience in SW application and product development as well as process development are key 
  • Preferably experienced in the laboratory environment combined with knowledge of the high-tech manufacturing industry
  • A quick grasp as well as a distinctive conceptual and analytical thinking 
  • You are a networker with excellent interpersonal skills, strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate cross-culturally with colleagues, team members and customers around the world in English and German
