Lead-Software Test

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
  • Define and monitor test automation processes aligned with organizational standards.
  • Prepare estimations, test plans, test strategies, work breakdown structures and prioritize work for test automation team.
  • Build and extend reusable, scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Deliver automated testing across UI, API, integration, and non-functional areas.
  • Review test designs, automation code, and related quality artifacts.
  • Ensure test artifacts, documentation, and execution evidence are maintained.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, support defect triage and regression testing.
  • Define and maintain CI/CD practices and test execution infrastructure.
  • Drive failure analysis, test code maintenance, and reduce flaky tests.
  • Establish and track relevant team and project level KPIs / metrics, analyse trends, and recommend actions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain regular communication and reporting with stakeholders. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across time zones.
  • Stay updated with modern testing tools, trends, and industry developments.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Familiarity with BDD / TDD, PI planning, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
  • Proven track record in test management, test automation, and validation of on-premise / desktop / cloud-native software and connected device ecosystems.
  • Ability to analyse requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Strong test planning, test design, test artefacts review, code review and defect management skills.
  • Experience in building robust, scalable, maintainable, test frameworks that can perform Web, Desktop and API tests.
  • Hands-on experience with modern automation stacks, preferably: 
  • Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, including OOPS and design patterns or JavaScript.
  • Proven experience with Playwright or similar test automation frameworks.
  • API testing tools and practices
  • Contract testing
  • WinAppDriver / Appium or other similar Desktop application automation
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean code principles.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git, and test automation integration in delivery workflows.
  • Firsthand experience in deploying and provisioning continuous execution of automated tests, Monitoring failures, and troubleshooting and controlling flaky tests.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills. Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional environment.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Knowledge of Laboratory domain / Automated Chemistry systems.
  • Experience with embedded system testing.
  • Performance testing tools like K6.
  • Exposure to Security testing & tools involved.
  • Familiarity in a11y testing.
  • Testing and Debugging SignalR applications.
  • OPC UA testing.
  • Experience using genAI tools for test automation.
  • ISTQB or similar Advance level certification
