Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Mettler Toledo is seeking a proactive and engaged Marketing Specialist to join our Canadian Marketing Team in Mississauga responsible for developing value-added marketing programs that differentiate our organization, drive lead and revenue growth, and increase market share.You will contribute to innovative marketing strategies working collaboratively with the team to achieve measurable results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the business plan for our market.
  • Share responsibility for the Marketing planner creation, the timing, management and execution of the annual initiatives.
  • Support efforts to continuously monitor and report marketing performance.
  • Set clear expectations for initiatives, define success metrics, and share results and learnings with the marketing team and organization.
  • Follow marketing and market place trends in all of the industries we serve; explore new opportunities for growth; attend and coordinate key events.
  • Assist Sales Reps in the planning and implementation of customer events 
  • Engage in research to assess success of initiative, as well as future marketing requirements based upon market research and industry analysis.
  • Provide proactive communication within our teams, our field sales and service channels (reps, techs and leaders).
  • Be an engaged member of the marketing team and our collective goal for quality lead generation.
  • Provide feedback/ideas for marketing regarding emerging marketing channels.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.
This position is an existing vacancy within our company.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing along with 3-5 yrs of marketing experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with personal computers required and a functional understanding of MS Office highly desired. 
  • Self-starter with strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability  to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
