Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
As our Technical Support Specialist, your role will be to satisfy the end-user and dealer technical requests and inquiries by providing product and applications assistance while adhering to the established service level requirements. You will also monitor and drive NOM registration processes in Mexico. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Providing phone and email technical support to end-users and dealers to resolve technical inquiries, issues, or complaints with Ohaus products in a timely manner. 
  • Maintaining records of the interactions in the Ohaus SAP system according to established procedures. 
  • Escalating unresolvable issues to higher level Technical Support Personnel when necessary. 
  • Efficiently navigating SAP systems to initiate and investigate parts orders through technical support, determining pricing and availability of spare parts, and looking up customer information. 
  • Processing, tracking, and maintaining NOM processes in Mexico. 
  • Organizing and executing technical trainings to MXLA distributors.
What You Need to Succeed
  • High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred. 
  • Minimum 3 years of technical support/troubleshooting experience required. 
  • MUST be bilingual in English and Spanish. 
  • Prior experience in supporting proprietary products in the laboratory instrument space is a plus. 
  • Hands-on technical/troubleshooting/servicing/repairing experience with hardware/equipment is a plus.
