Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The Material Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory levels, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support production. What you will do:
  • Prepare and kit low-complexity orders using a Radio Frequency device, including tasks related to sub-assemblies and metal detection, while ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately included.  
  • Perform Quality at The Source when staging materials.  
  • Utilize the disturbance tracker.   
  • Utilize the missing parts list to document and identify any part shortages. 
  • Ensure the areas are clean, neat and organized at all times in accordance with our 5s guidelines.
  • Manually unload incoming small parcels and materials, utilizing pallet jacks when necessary. Verify that quantities match packing slips and label all materials accordingly. 
  • Knowledge of all established material pickup and drop off locations. 
  • Ability to operate a manual pallet jack. 
  • Confirm all transactions using a RF device and ensure items are accurately tagged and staged in their designated locations and execute bin-to-bin movements. 
  • Utilize Kaizen Newspaper to identify continuous improvement (CI) opportunities. 
  • Able to assist with Cycle Counting. 
What You Need to Succeed
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Safety awareness
  • Able to communicate and follow both oral and written instructions
  • Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (i.e. stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of time 
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task 
  • Possesses high energy level
  • Ability to consistently meet set expectations 
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs
This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.
