    Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
    For our Laboratory Weighing (LabTec) division, which is the world's leading manufacturer of laboratory balances, we are looking for the Greifensee location, METTLER TOLEDO's global operational headquarters, for an enthusiastic Embedded Software Engineer Linux 80% – 100% (all genders).

    In this role, your responsibilities would include:
    • You design and implement robust software modules (APIs) as Debian packages across three distinct product lines, ensuring we achieve a faster Go-To-Market strategy
    • You actively contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, including gathering requirements, designing solutions, implementing code, and testing
    • You support and address security-related aspects of our software solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
    • You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate and deploy solutions seamlessly
    What You Need to Succeed
    Following requirements are necessary for this role: 
    • You have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable working experience
    • You have at least three years of professional experience in an embedded software engineering environment, preferably within industrial high-tech sectors or product development 
    • You gained in-depth knowledge of C++ programming and Linux operating systems (Debian)
    • You have a passion for clean code and pragmatic, elegant design
    • Your knowledge or a proactive approach to learning and engaging with SSDLC and Python is a big plus for this role
    • You have proficient language skills in English, and you are able to communicate in German
    • You show motivation to work in a multicultural, international setting
